Background Information 
Professional profile:
I am a graduate of Glasgow University and undertook my post-graduate training in surgery, obstetrics & gynaecology in the west of Scotland. During this time I gained a wide experience in general gynaecology as well as being able to specialise in surgical gynaecology.

I undertook a clinical research fellowship sponsored by the Chief Scientist Office investigating the epidemiology of surgical specialisation. My postgraduate training culminated in RCOG sub-speciality accreditation in gynaecological oncology.

I am accredited in minimal access surgery, both in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery. I am also accredited in colposcopy.

I am currently a consultant in gynaecology and gynaecological oncology at the Princess Anne Hospital, Southampton. In addition to my work in Southampton, I have NHS clinics in Basingstoke as well as the Isle of Wight.
Personal profile:
I am married to a consultant physician also working in Southampton. We have two young children. I enjoy sailing and skiing.
