Doctorate of Medicine thesis in the field of bladder reconstruction sponsored by a joint British Urological foundation and Royal College of Surgeons research fellowship. Published and presented nationally and internationally on subjects including bladder reconstruction, prostate cancer, laparoscopic surgery, minimally invasive renal surgery and chronic perineal pain syndrome.

I have worked as a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Southampton University Hospital Foundation trust since 2009.
I completed a Bachelor of Science honours degree in Biochemistry with Pharmacology from the University of Southampton 1990 before studying Medicine at Southampton University Medical School graduating in 1994. My urological training has been in the Wessex region including Southampton, Bournemouth, Salisbury, Portsmouth, and Winchester. In 2007 I spent a fellowship year training in laparoscopic urological surgery, stone surgery and brachytherapy in Perth, Australia. In 2008 I undertook a clinical visit to Cleveland Clinic, Ohio training in advanced laparoscopic techniques and Robotics. Prior to my appointment in Southampton in 2009 I worked in Winchester and Southend University Hospital.
Married with 3 children. I enjoy spending time with my family, and sports, including cycling, swimming, windsurfing, sailing and mountaineering.
