He has brought perineal prostatectomy to Wessex - a minimally invasive technique for radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer. He is fully trained in cryotherapy for prostate cancer especially where previous radiotherapy has failed.

Mr Cumming carries out microsurgical vasectomy reversal as a day case procedure. This technique carries the greatest chance of success in rejoining the vas deferencs after vasectomy.
