    I graduated from Leicester University in 1978 and did my surgical training in Leicester, Cardiff, Bridgend, Salisbury, Southampton, Basingstoke, Bath and Portsmouth with a year's advanced laparoscopic surgery training in Brisbane, Australia.

    I work as an upper gastrointestinal general surgeon providing a direct access endoscopy service and leading developments in laparoscopic surgery in Southampton, including bile duct exploration, hernia repair, anti-reflux surgery, splenectomy, adrenalectomy and appendicectomy.

    I provide care for Southampton, Winchester, Isle of Wight and Channel Island patients.

    Married with three daughters. I am a keen single figure handicap golfer, and enjoy fly-fishing, sailing and gardening when time permits.
