I offer surgical treatments for a broad spectrum of thoracic conditions including lung cancer, pneuothorax, chest wall deformity and mediastinal disease. My preferred approach is via VATS (video assisted thoracoscopic surgery).

Personal profile:

Having graduated in Leeds I undertook specialist surgical training in Leeds and Manchester. I spent a period in Hong Kong to learn advanced VATS techniques. I started my consultant career at Manchester Royal Infirmary to develop their VATS programme and moving to Southampton General Hospital in 2010.
