I am a neurosurgeon with sub specialist in spinal neurosugery dealing with all aspects of spinal surgery including degenerative disorders (back & neck), spinal instability, neoplasms of the vertebral colum, intradural tumours and rheumatoid spines. I am building a comprehensive network to offer patients the best possible care. This includes my close links with neuro-radiologists, pain service, physiotherapy and occupational therapy.

I was a trainee in the North Thames Neurosurgery programme. One year of this was spent working with Professor Alan Crockard and Mr Casey dealing with complex cranio cervical junction and cervical spine disorders. I have also spent a six-week sabbatical in a leading spinal sugery unit in Wiesbaden, Germany. This broad experience has helped me develop my expertise in treatment of pathologies of cervical and lumbar spine, learn techniques of image guided instrumentation of the spine and cervical disc replacement.

I am married and have one son. My main interests outside work are my family, painting watercolours, cooking and sport related activities.
