Consultant Gastroenterologist at Southampton University Hospitals Trust
Trevor trained at Southampton University Medical School, graduating in 1995. He undertook higher specialist training in Medicine and Gastroenterology in the Wessex region and completed a research fellowship in Clinical Nutrition at the Institute of Human Nutrition (Southampton University).
Trevor was appointed as a Consultant Gastroenterologist at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital in 2006 and transferred to Southampton University Hospitals in 2010. He looks after patients with a broad range of gastrointestinal problems and has a particular interest in inflammatory bowel disease, clinical nutrition and endoscopy. Working with Dr Mike Stroud, they both lead a regional intestinal failure service, managing patients with very complex gut problems.
Trevor chairs the British Artificial Nutrition Survery (BANS) and is a member of the British Society of Gastroenterology Small Bowel and Nutrition Committee and the British Association of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (BAPEN) Council.
Trevor is married with two yound children and enjoys spending time in the New Forest on Dorset coast.
