Dr Limbrey qualified from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1992. She trained in London until coming down to Southampton to undertake her research into asthma and allergic airways disease. Following this she completed her clinical training in the Wessex region and has now been a consultant at Southampton General Hospital since 2006. Dr Limbrey now leads the Pulmonary Vascular Service and has set up the Pulmonary Embolus Clinic. In addition she also runs the Pulmonary Hypertension Service, working closely with The Royal Brompton Hospital, London.
Dr Limbrey is married and has three sons.
