    I have been lead consultant in ultrasound at Southampton General Hospital over the past 30 years introducing the various ultrasound technologies as they have developed. I've published many scientific papers and authored and edited 12 medical texts on ultrasound. I have combined my interest in ultrasound with the broad aspects of general radiology.
    Personal profile:
    My interests are gardening and sailing and I am married to a doctor who is medical director at the LMC. We are now enjoying 2 grandaughters.
