    Professional profile:
    I have worked in the Southampton Childrens Sleep Disorder Service (NHS) for 10 years, 8 as a consultant. Paediatric sleep medicine is a very under developed speciality in the UK and I have supplemented my local clinical training by attending courses at the Woolcock Institute of sleep Medicine in Australia and the Atlanta School of Sleep Medicine. I am interested in the clinical and diagnostic (often using sleep studies) assessment of children's sleep disorders and their treatment. I am actively researching sleep disorders in young children and with colleagues have presented our findings both in the UK and US.
