I have anaesthetised for major and trauma surgery. I am familiar with regional techniques, including brachial plexus, lumbar plexus, femoral and sciatic nerve blocks in addition to central-neuraxis blockade.

Paediatric Anaesthesia

Since returning from Australia in 2000 I have regularly anaesthetised children and infants for elective and emergency work.

I have experience in Thoracic, Vascular and anaesthesia, also Upper and Lower Gastrointestincal surgery.

In addition to this I also have experince Obstetric and Gynaecological anaesthesia, Urology, Head and Neck,Ophthalmic, and daycare anaesthesia.

Finally I have experience working within Intensive Care.
Personal profile:
I am married and have a daughter.

I enjoy Cycling, Golf, Squash,Skiing and general fitness.

My hobbies are Classic Cars, I have a passion for classic cars, I am rebuilding a 1969 Triumph from the chassis upwards and use another 25 year old car for fun.

I enjoy travelling, living in Australia gave me a great opportunity to see a small part of Australasia, New Zealand and the South Pacific Islands. I look forward to learning more about Europe.
