At Spire Southampton Hospital, Wessex Cardiology LLP offer appointments with a consultant cardiologist within 24 hours of referral in the rapid access cardiac clinic, providing high quality care in all aspects of cardiac disease and cardiovascular screening. You will be provided with a thorough clinical review, including a chest X-ray and ECG and, where required, exercise tests, echocardiograms, holter (a portable device monitoring heart activity) and blood pressure monitors are available. Consultants also have access to specialist investigations and procedures such as coronary angiography, coronary angioplasty and stents, and stress echocardiography.
