Professional profile:

I studied in Edinburgh and after surgical training in Aberdeen and Newcastle, spent time training with specialist knee surgeons in Newcastle upon Tyne and Edinburgh.

I have been a consultant in Fife for three years, and have developed a practice which is 50% arthroscopic knee and 50% knee replacement.

I am experienced in all aspects of knee surgery including ligament reconstruction, cartilage surgery and repair, and meniscal surgery, as well as partial joint replacement, patellofemoral surgery and total knee replacement.

All my joint replacement patients are audited using internationally validated scoring systems.

Personal profile:
I have worked in Fife for three years. I am married with four children. I enjoy music and play the trombone with the Dundee Symphony Orchestra.
