Background Information 
Professional profile:
My NHS practice is based in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences at the Western General Hospital. This Unit has excellent university links and a strong research base. My general medical training was undertaken in Liverpool, the Hammersmith Hospital in London and Manchester. My Radiology training was in Edinburgh and Glasgow including two years as a Research Fellow in the Institute of Neurological Sciences in Glasgow. My main clinical interests are in Interventional Neuroradiology and cancer imaging of the neuraxis.
Personal profile:
My interests outside neuroradiology include hill walking, skiing and equestrianism – particularly eventing. I also enjoy golf (though I would class myself as a happy hacker), gardening and travel. Other interests include open top touring (when the Scottish weather allows) and good food and wine.
