Professional profile:

I am fully trained in coronary intervention, pacing and device implantation, and echocardiography. My sub-specialist training is in coronary physiological measurement, intravascular ultrasound and CT coronary angiography.

Personal profile:
I was born and raised in Kirkcaldy, Fife.  I attended medical school in Edinburgh with my post-graduate medical training in Newcastle-upon-Tyne followed by specialist Cardiology training at the Hammersmith Hospital in London, the Glenfield Hospital in Leicester and Stanford University Hospital, California. I am a keen golfer and a bass guitarist in a jazz band.  I am married with three teenagers. Looking to the future, I plan to retire to a warm country.
