I trained in General Paediatrics in Northern Ireland and obtained my subspecialty training in Paediatric Gastroenterology at the Hospital for Sick Children Toronto, Royal London Hospital and at the Paediatric Liver Unit at Kings College Hospital London. I practiced as a Consultant Paediatric Gastroenterologist in the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children before moving to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh where I am clinical lead for complex nutrition. It is my privilege to look after children from birth to adulthood.
I try to keep up with my wife and three daughters and their sporting and musical activities. When allowed I walk, run and mountain bike and I am discovering all that Scotland’s hills and mountains have to offer.
