Laparoscopic Radical Prostatectomy

Spire Roding Hospital, London, is one of the few hospitals in the country offering laparoscopic radical prostatectomy. 


Men with early prostate cancer can now receive keyhole surgery, which can help preservation of function (continence and potency) in suitable patients. The benefit of keyhole surgery may include a shorter stay in hospital (one to two nights) and a quicker return to work, usually within two to three weeks.

At Spire Roding, laparoscopic radical prostatectomy is performed by Consultant Urologist, Mr Shiv Bhanot.
