Mr Mrinal Saharay is a consultant general surgeon at Spire Hartswood private hospital in Brentwood, and Spire Roding private hospital, Redbridge (both in Essex), offering general surgery in our clean and comfortable hospitals.
Mrinal Sahary trained in the North East Thames region and undertook research at the University College London for which he was awarded a Ph.D degree.
In his endocrine practice, Mr Saharay specialises in thyroid surgery (including cancers), minimally-invasive parathyroid surgery and surgery for tumours of the parotid (salivary) gland.
In his colorectal (bowel surgery) practice, Mr Saharay performs all major bowel operations for both cancers and benign conditions.
Mrinal Saharay has a particular interest in the treatment of haemorrhoids and performs the latest operation for this condition, the "procedure for prolapse and haemorrhoids" (PPH). In addition, he performs gastroscopy and colonoscopy investigations, along with other general surgical operations such as hernia repair and laparoscopic (keyhole) gallbladder surgery.
