Mr Faisal Mihaimeed is the Director of Surgery, Anaesthesia, Cancer and Access Services at Newham University Hospital, east London. Before being appointed a consultant in general surgery, he trained as junior registrar at the Royal Cornwall Hospital NHS Trust and then as senior registrar at Hillingdon Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital and the Royal Free Hospitals in London, and also at Ashford and Central Middlesex Hospital.
Mr Mihaimeed obtained the certifcate of completion of specialist training and the intercollegiate diploma of the Four Royal Colleges of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland. He was awaded a Masters degree in surgical science at the Hammersmith Hospital Royal Postgraduate Medical School, University of London. Mr Mihaimeed is also a member of the NET Specialty Training Committee, London Deanery.
