Professional profile:
I have been a qualified gynaecologist for 13 years. Over the past 5 years, I have been practicing reproductive medicine, advanced minimal access surgery and assisted conception. I am also the lead clinician and the director of the assisted conception unit at the Homerton University Hospital in East London.

I trained at Homerton University Hospital, the UCLH and Harold Wood Hospitals. My main interest is in the area of reproductive medicine including polycystic ovarian syndrome, infertility, menopause, heavy bleeding, assisted conception (IVF) and endometriosis.

I am the lead clinician of the department of Reproductive Medicine, Surgery and Assisted Conception at Homerton University Hospital. I also am the director of the Fertility Unit. My other interest is the treatment of endometriosis - I also lead the endometriosis and pelvic pain unit at the Homerton Hospital. I specialise in minimal access surgery for endometriosis and advanced hysteroscopic surgery.

I provide all of the above services at Spire Roding Hospital.
Personal profile:
In addition to my role as an NHS and private consultant, I maintain research interests in polycystic ovarian syndrome and endometriosis.

At the present time, I am co- leading a research project in India regarding the treatment of polycystic women in India. I also pursue a charity project in India which aims towards women's empowerment and child health. I am a keen reader of history and philosophy.
