Professional profile:
I have worked in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and after obtaining my membership (MRCOG) in 1998, I joined Genito-Urinary and HIV medicine. I have been trained at renowned Hospitals such as the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital London, the John Radcliff Unit in Oxford and The Royal London and Barts Hospitals. Working in these hospitals has provided me with a vast experience of treating and managing patients with a range of sexually transmitted infections including HIV.

I am author of peer-reviewed publications and have presented in international conferences.

I specialise in the diagnosis, treatment and management of sexually transmitted infections in both men and women. My area of interest lies in recurrent candidiasis, bacterial vaginosis, genital herpes and non-specific uretheritis and genital skin conditions. I have experience in treating vulval conditions including vestibulitis and vulvodynia

Referrals are welcomed for:

- vaginal & urethral discharge
- pain secondary to sex
- part of the work up for infertility investigations
- symptomatic & asymptomatic screen for sexually transmitted infections
- pelvic inflammatory disease
- genital skin disorders
- genital HPV and warts
- HIV test and counselling
- emergency and regular contraception
- intra uterine device/system and Mirena fitting.
