Dr Emma Staples is a consultant clinical oncologist, specialising in the treatment of breast cancer using a combination of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. At Spire Hartswood and Spire Roding private hospitals, she is available to plan and manage courses of chemotherapy for breast cancer patients.
Dr Staples currently holds a consultant clinical oncologist post at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. In addition to the treatment of breast cancer she specialises in treating tumors of the brain and spinal cord.
Dr Emma Staples qualified in medicine in 1995 from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School. After completing general medical training she chose to specialise in the treatment of cancer and completed clinical oncology training at the Hammersmith Hospitals and Guys and St Thomas NHS Trust in London before taking up her consultant post in Essex.
