What is hydrotherapy?
Hydrotherapy is a therapeutic treatment that involves moving and exercising in water using the properties of water to help reduce pain and stress on the joints. It may be of benefit for you if you suffer from, or are recovering from:
- back pain
- rheumatic pain
- arthritic pain
- following orthopaedic surgery
- muscle or ligament injuries
- orthopaedic problems e.g. post-fracture injury
Where do we do this?
Hydrotherapy sessions take place at Bollington Leisure Centre swimming pool.
A recent patient who attended said 'The service was just fantastic, so well organised and the water was lovely and warm. The girls' enthusiasm rubbed off on everyone, and they did an excellent job. I cannot believe the difference and how much better I feel after exercising in the water, and can't wait for next week's session!'
