Consultant Orthopaedic and Knee Surgeon

Mr. Graham Keys completed his Orthopaedic training in Cape Town in 1988. He worked as a shoulder, hip and knee Fellow in Nottingham and Oxford thereafter and as a consultant from 1990. His interest is a combination of sports knee injuries & arthritis surgery. He has helped develop one of the world's most commonly used and successful knee replacements as well as minimal invasive knee replacement surgery. He teaches, lectures, demonstrates and runs advanced instructional knee courses in the UK, Europe, Asia, Africa and even the USA. Mr. Keys is actively involved in research and is frequently invited to attend international knee meetings to lecture.

Mr. Keys is married with 2 daughters. He belongs to a local golf club and has a single figure handicap. He says he can't quite run the marathons, play the squash, tennis and hockey that he used to! Other hobbies include wildlife (he has a Zoology degree) and reading beside being a great sports spectator. Mr. Keys used to be the Orthopaedic Surgeon to the South African National cricket team (Springbok).
