Dr Peter Heath, DM,MSc (Oxon), FRCP has been a Consultant in Clinical Neurophysiology to The University Hospital of North Staffordshire since 1989, having previously held training posts in Oxford, Newcastle and Southampton. He is West Midlands Regional Specialty Advisor and has been Chair of the Specialist Advisory Committee of the Royal College of Physicians responsible for UK training in the speciality. Presently he is President of the National Scientific Society and The British Society for Clinical Neurophysiology. He runs a department providing a wide range of general neurophysiological investigations used in the diagnosis of epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, entrapment neurophies and retinal disease and has a specialist interest in neurophysiological monitoring during spinal and neuro-surgery. He provides a private EMG service for the investigation of nerve and muscle disease and Medical Reports.
Dr Heath's main hobby is Golf.
