Mr Solomon's clinical practice involves three outpatient sessions and four operating sessions per week; these sessions are based at St Mary's Hospital, Portsmouth.
He has a personal interest in prostate cancer and he performs both retropubic and perineal prostatectomy for localised prostate cancer.
He works closely with a clinical scientist based at the University of Portsmouth to develop his research interests in the fields of bladder and prostate cancer.
Mr Solomon chairs a monthly session for the Quality Forum at St Mary's Hospital, which runs audit projects that are designed to improve delivery of quality care to all urology patients.

Mr Solomon is married with four children and has lived in this region for the last 6 years. He is a Roman Catholic by faith. His sporting interests are varied including both individual and team events. He enjoys running, swimming, football, tennis, golf, karting and snooker. Mr Solomon also plays the piano and enjoys both classical and popular music. He is an avid reader of both fictional and non-fictional manuscripts.
