Professional profile:
My philosophy for practice is to empower patients with knowledge of their disease and remedies such that together we can decide upon the most appropriate treatments.

I trained in Urology in London and the South East and was awarded the gold medal for my performance in pre-consultant exams.

I undertook fellowship training in laparoscopy and minimally invasive surgery in Guy's and King's Hospitals. My research was into prostate cancer at Imperial College and I have published papers on this and a variety of other subjects. I maintain an interest in academic urology, the history of medicine and education.

In addition to general urology, my areas of particular clinical expertise are prostate, kidney and bladder cancer, and laparoscopic surgery.
Personal profile:
I live with my wife and son Isaac in Chichester. My interests outside medicine include walking, cycling and football.
