Mr Davies qualified at Guy's Hospital in 1982. From 1984 he trained in obstetrics and gynaecology until 1994 when he was appointed as a consultant at Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust.
During his training Mr Davies worked in Portsmouth, Bristol, Plymouth, Southampton and Winchester. He also spent time as a University Research Fellow in Southampton.
Mr Davies provides a broad general gynaecological private practice but has a special interest in hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery, incontinence, gynaecological prolapse and the medical investigation and management of recurrent miscarriage. Currently he is unable to provide private obstetric services.
Personal profile:
Mr Davies’ recreational time is spent pursuing his hobbies of astronomy in the winter and sailing in the warmer months. He is married with one son, and he and his son are avid supporters of Welsh rugby, and make trips to The Millennium Stadium as often as possible.
