Background Information 
Professional profile:
I graduated from the London Hospital Medical College, University of London. My general surgical training was based around several centres of excellence in managing breast diseases including Guys Hospital and The Royal Marsden Hospital where I learnt oncoplastic techniques to optimise the cosmetic outcome of breast surgery. I have always been interested in cancer surgery and as part of my higher surgical training at the University College London, I was awarded a masters degree for my research into the possibilities of gene therapy in the prevention and treatment of cancer.

In 2007 I was appointed as Consultant Surgeon at Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust, where I carry out a full range of breast surgery including sentinel node biopsy, oncoplastic surgery and breast reconstruction. I am currently the Clinical Lead for Breast & Endocrine Surgery for Portsmouth. I also have a specialist interest in and undertake surgery for thyroid, parathyroid, hernia and melanoma conditions.
Personal profile:
I am married and have four young children. I like to spend time with my family and socialising with friends.

I enjoy playing football, tennis and squash.
