After post graduate surgical training including an extended period in otolaryngology, Dr Gibson completed most of his radiological training on the Hammersmith and Charing Cross rotation in London. His specialty training included a musculoskeletal and ENT fellowship post, recognised by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists at Perth Radiological Clinic in Western Australia. This was conducted under the guidance of Professor Andy Whyte, Michael Fallon and Dr Bill Breidahl. In this position, Dr Gibson worked across all radiological modalities within his areas of interest. This year, Dr Gibson returned to Australia for further training on the use of low-dose Cone Beam CT in dental radiology.
Dr Gibson has moved into the area with his family, and by way of relaxation enjoys mountain biking around the local countryside and is a member of the Southampton Classical Guitar Society.
