GP Partner, Emsworth Surgery

I am a local, full time GP who believes in the principles of healthcare implicit in that role. I also appreciate that patients sometimes want something slightly different from a GP which might be better served by private practice.

My personal practice would tend to be conservative , but open minded and up-to-date.

Prior to becoming a GP my hospital experience was diverse but included longer spells in ear, nose and throat and obstetrics and gynaecology. As a family doctor I have been fortunate enough to work in both urban and rural communities covering a wide spectrum of disease in a variety of age groups. I consider my knowledge therefore to be "general" but broad.

I enjoy a full and hectic life outside work but most importantly value spending time with my wife and two small boys. I am a keen sportsman and play football and golf regularly with some windsurfing, cricket, squash, running when possible. I am also passionate about food and would list cooking amongst my greatest pleasures.
