A compartment surgery patient at Spire Parkway Hospital writes to express her thanks to orthopaedic surgeon Mr Ved Goswami and the Spire staff.
Dear Mr Goswami
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your highly efficient team at Spire Parkway, during my emergency procedure on Wednesday evening 31st August.
No 'thanks' are enough for the care and attention for what I can only describe as a 'slick operation' (pardon the pun!) across multiple departments; from the attentive Dr Tudway, Radiologist, who did my first set of ultrasound scans, to Karl, hospital assistant (who duly cared for iPhone while I was having an MRI), to Martin and Peg, RGN's, on the ward (who very kindly made sure that my mom was fed and watered!), to Joan, Physiotherapist, who gallantly taught me how to master the stairs on crutches (good leg to heaven - bad leg to hell). And of course, how could I not mention Dr Rooney, Anaesthetist, who so proudly bounded into my room with post-op images on his phone.
In fact, I feel a bit like a super-star. You even gave me my own South African doctor, Dr Selby, Resident Medical Officer, to take my blood test. Home from home.
Most importantly, I would like to thank you for your expertise and immediate diagnosis. Words are not enough. I know that I would be telling an entirely different story had I not been under your supervision.
