All of our physiotherapists are highly trained and skilled in the assessment and treatment of musculo-skeletal problems. We pride ourselves on our vast experience and post graduate training in specialist areas.
The team provides an excellent service to in-patients and out-patients, working closely along side orthopaedic and neuro-surgical consultants, clinical massage therapists, occupational therapists and podiatrists to create a successful, multidisciplinary team.
Our team is involved with providing the specialist physiotherapy requirements for:
The Foot and Ankle Practice-lead by Mr. J Ramos
The Midland Knee and Shoulder Clinic – lead by Mr. V Goswami, Mr. S Brooks and Mr. S Bryan
The Solihull Hip and Knee Clinic- lead by Mr. T Lawrence
We have the staff and facilities to treat any part of the body, from head to toe, whether it is an acute traumatic sports injury, a post-operative problem or chronic aches and pains.
We can provide splints, braces and orthotics, either off the shelf or tailor made depending upon requirements.
All out-patients are given a thorough initial assessment, after which treatment goals are discussed with the patient and set together with the therapist. Treatment is started on the initial appointment and follow up appointments are booked dependent upon the treatment plan.
If at initial assessment the physiotherapist feels that physiotherapy is not the correct intervention then this will be discussed and an appropriate referral will be organised.
Treatments provided include advice, education, postural correction, manipulative therapy, massage, acupuncture, electrotherapy, Pilates (mat work and reformer), hydrotherapy, gym rehabilitation, isokinetic training and setting self management programs.
We aim to create a seamless service from initial appointment to final treatment, aiming for the best possible service, treatment and outcome.
