I graduated in 1990 and proceeded to my Fellowship in foot surgery which I completed after a further seven years of training within a centre of excellence for foot and ankle surgery in the UK. I was appointed as a consultant Podiatric Surgeon in 2005. I have published over twenty five papers in the field of foot and ankle surgery. I am currently involved in doctoral level research at Manchester Metropolitan University, School of Biomedical Sciences.
I am dedicated to providing the very highest standard of care for all patients and this drives me to continue to be actively involved in the education and training of all those with an interest in foot pathology. Whilst this makes for a busy life, I am a proud father of twin girls Carys and Phoebe aged 3yrs (2010). One can only hope to get the balance right!
