Nicholas White BSc(Hons) MD FRCS(Plast) has practising privileges in leading private hospitals in Birmingham. He is a practising NHS Consultant Plastic Surgeon, appears on the specialist register for Plastic Surgery of the General Medical Council and holds the specialist FRCS (Plastic Surgery) qualification of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.Mr White trained at the University of Manchester. After a broad general surgical training he entered plastic surgery training in the West Midlands. He then undertook further advanced training in Birmingham, London and America. As a Consultant at Birmingham Children’s Hospital and the New Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham he specialises in craniofacial surgery for facial deformity in children and adults, trauma reconstruction and the treatment of skin cancer.
Nick is the Chairman of the Birmingham specialist skin cancer multi-disciplinary team based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He is part of the question writing committee for the FRCS(plast) exam. Also he is a member of council of the Birmingham Medico-Legal Society.
