Professional profile:

Mr Ellabban was educated in the prestigous Orman High School in Cairo, Egypt before undertaking his medical studies in Cairo University. He graduated in 1991 with the degree of “Excellent with Honours” and was offered a post in Cairo University to continue his higher surgical training.

He gained a Master Degree in Plastic Surgery in 1995 on a study of the different techniques of mandibular reconstruction and a MD degree in 1999 on another study on ear reconstruction. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons In Ireland in 1999 and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2000.

Mr Ellabban trained in Plastic Surgery in a number of the prominent UK units and had his plastic surgery higher training rotation in Scotland. He passed the intercollagiate plastic surgery exam in 2008

He was granted the travelling bursary of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive & Aesthtic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the travelling bursary of the British Association of the Surgical Oncologists (BASO) to go to Taiwan and train on the techniques of microsurgery in 2007. He also trained on microsurgical breast reconstruction in St Thomas’ Hospital in London.

 
Mr Ellabban was trained on asthetic & cosmetic surgery at the world renowned “The London Clinic” in London as well as in Los Angeles, California.
