Professional profile:
I completed my advanced surgical training in the West Midlands and did my research degree in London.

Before taking up my post as consultant urologist at Heartlands and Solihull teaching hospitals, I underwent additional specialist laparascopic traing in centres of excellence in America and Paris and have published widely and presented at international meetings.
In addition to general urology, I have a specialist interest in laparascopic radical prostatectomy, laparascopic nephrectomy and have pioneered the new non invasive high intensity focussed ultrasound treatment of prostate cancer as well as prostatectomy.

I am an honorary senior lecturer at the University of Birmingham medical school and educational and research lead at Heartlands and Solihull NHS Trust.

I am a well recognised expert in laparascopic and minimally invasive urology with links both nationally and internationally and have a large referral practice not only from the West Midlands but also from America and Australia.
