Mr Jonathan Staiano qualified from Guy's Hospital in London in 1994 having obtained a BSc in Pharmacology from University College London (UCL) in 1992. He completed his surgical training around London and the south east including a masters degree in surgical sciences from UCL. Mr Staiano became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1998 and went on to complete higher surgical training in plastic surgery in the North West and Wales.
Mr Staiano has undertaken specialist fellowships in the field of cancer reconstruction at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London and in Wellington, New Zealand.
Mr Staiano passed the Intercollegiate specialty examination in plastic surgery, FRCS (Plast), in 2005 and is on the GMC specialist register for plastic surgery. He has worked as a consultant in plastic and reconstructive surgery in Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge and now holds a substantive NHS consultant post specialising in breast reconstruction at City Hospital, Birmingham.
Mr Staiano is married to a GP and has two children.
