I am currently the director of the corneal service and a consultant ophthalmologist at Paybody Eye Unit, University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.

My special interests include small incision cataract surgery, diseases of the cornea and refractive surgery.

I completed my specialist training in 1995 and am on the specialist register. I gained international fellowship experience working in Melbourne with Professor Hugh Taylor for two years in 1991-1992. Since gaining my consultant position in Coventry in 1995, I have maintained my programme of continuous professional development with the College of Ophthalmologists and have attended many courses and conferences.
