Background Information 
Professional profile:
There are three main areas in general surgery that particularly interest me. My main interest is in oncological surgery, in particular colorectal cancer. I have undertaken various research and publications in this area and continue to take a great interest in how to radically treat this common cancer.

I also enjoy developing and providing laparoscopic surgery and I am an active member both nationally and internationally of various Laparoscopic Societies.

Finally over the years, I have developed a special interest in state of the art techniques for the treatment of various hernias using either modern meshes or laparoscopic techniques.
Personal profile:
I enjoy all types of social events. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, squash, music and sport in particular football and Formula One.
