Background Information
Professional profile:
Most of my surgical training has been in the Midlands, with the Coventry group of hospitals and at Birmingham. My urological higher surgical training started in Birmingham and continued in London including the Institute of Urology. My subsequent senior registrar appointment took me to the Emirate of Dubai with the Allied Medical Group and the experience has been excellent.

My practice at Spire Parkway Hospital stems from providing a quality service. My two major urological interests are uro-oncology for bladder/ prostate and urinary stone disease. I have acquired the sufficient experience to carry out orthotopic bladder substitution following radical cystectomy.

Over the past 18 months, I have consistently reduced the catheter time following radical prostatectomy to 4-5 days. In addition, I have been able to provide nerve sparing radical prostatectomy in selected patients. I have been providing lithotripsy for stones as well as Peyronie's disease here at Spire Parkway Hospital.

I am committed to developing a one-stop prostate assessment service as well as a rapid access haematuria service. As the lead for the uro-oncology in the local Trust I am committed to providing very high quality patient-focussed service.
Personal profile:
I like to inspire confidence in my patients with excellent levels of communication. Time permitting, I like to cook Indian food but be left alone in the kitchen. A barbecue in the summer is my favourite as is listening to Indian music. ABBA is my favourite pop group. I have enjoyed mock interviews for six formers at King Edward IV Camp Hill school for the last five years.

I am also seeking non-medical interests and a year ago I became a Rotarian for Sheldon and Yardley Rotary Club.
