I graduated from St. Thomas' Hospital, London and trained in medicine and ophthalmology. I completed my ophthalmic training both in London (St. Thomas) and (Moorfields Eye Hospital) and Birmingham and specialise in vitreo-retinal surgery and ocular trauma. I have research interests in vital dye staining, malignant glaucoma, novel tamponade agents and new generation lens implants. I am a co-organiser of the Birmingham Ocular Trauma Course run annually at the Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre.

I see patients with macula disease and provide lucentis treatment for macular degeneration. I perform surgery on the lens, vitreous floaters/haemorrhage and retinal detachments.
