Mr Murray has presented at many national and international meetings and has published widely.
He is currently carrying out a joint project with the mechanical engineering department of the University of Birmingham, into the tension of speculae used for cataract surgery. It is hoped that this will then lead onto a clinical study into the association between the tension in speculae pre-operatively and post operative epiphora and ptosis.
