I am a consultant in obstetrics at the Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust. I am an accredited Sonologist with a Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists certification in Maternal Medicine and Fetal Medicine/Ultrasound.

I run fetal medicine clinics for women with problems with fetus/ babies. I also regularly manage patients with all varieties of medical problems in pregnancy.  I also perform gynaecological and early pregnancy ultrasound.

I pursued my research interest in preterm labour, which led to the award of the MD in research with many international and national publications and presentations. I have developed an innovative service at my NHS hospital called ‘Preterm prevention clinic’ which caters to all women who are at risk of preterm labour.

I strongly believe in working in partnership both with the women I look after, and the team I work with. I believe in being open and true to my patients and giving them up to date information about their condition.

I am married to a hospital consultant and a mother of a teenage son at university. In my free time I enjoy walking, going to the gym and attending musical concerts.
