    Professional profile:
    Dr Naiker qualified at Madras University, India 1982, Internship in 1983 and gained her M.B.B.S Degree in 1984.  After further training in General Internal Medicine with an exit examination in 1988, she was awarded the degree of Diplomate National Board in General Medicine, New Delhi.

    Dr Naiker did further training in Cardiology at Vellore and Chennai and took an exit examination in Cardiology in 1992 and was Awarded  her Degree of Diplomate National Board in Cardiology, New Delhi.

    After working in New Zealand as Clinical Fellow in adult and Paediatric Cardiology followed by Consultant Cardiac Radiologist for 6 months till May 1994, she entered the UK and worked as Honorary Clinical Fellow from 1994 to 1997 at Cardio-thoracic Centre Liverpool (Now called the Heart and Chest Hospital).

    Personal profile:

    I have always felt passionately about providing healthcare to sick patients. My main interest is in providing a holistic approach to patients catering to their physical, mental, and emotional needs. I tailor the treatment to each individual patient according to their circumstances which is what makes the practise successful.

    I am also exretremely keen in preventive medicine and hence am an advocator of an overall good lifestyle. I believe in setting an example and hence try to follow my own advice to the best of my ability!

    I enjoy gardening and handwork such as sewing, knitting etc. I love reading philosophical books.
