Professional profile:

Adrian currently works at Heart of England Foundation Trust (HEFT) as a Specialist Weight Management Dietitian and is team leader for the dietetic weight management service. Adrian qualified as a Registered Dietitian in 2006, graduating from Leeds Metropolitan University and more recently graduated with a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics researching key themes of patient satisfaction within a bariatric dietetic service.

He has specialised in weight management and weight loss surgery for the last 4 years and works in the regional specialist weight management clinic at HEFT. Adrian has a very keen interest in behaviour change and understands that a lot of the changes required to be successful with weight loss need not just for dietary but also for lifestyle changes.

Adrian works with both weight management and bariatric patients, which enables a valuable insight into the patient journey. He has helped set up and run intensive specialist group sessions and helped in redeveloping the obesity care pathway within the weight management and bariatric service. More recently he has lead in the development of support groups for bariatric patients within Birmingham.
He is passionate about the area of weight management and weight loss surgery and looks forward to helping you to achieve your goals.
