Professional profile:
Mr William Stebbings completed his specialist training in coloproctology as a RSO at St Mark's Hospital, London. He was a travelling fellow at the Toronto General Hospital in 1990. His MChir thesis was in the aetio-pathogenesis of colorectal cancer and was awarded a distinction. He has practiced at the Spire Norwich Hospital for the past 18 years and has developed a specialised colorectal practice to improve the treatment of colrectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and anal disease.

Mr Stebbings is also interested in the development of surgical training and is the Programme Director of the Anglian SPR Surgical Training Rotation and member of the SAC, Royal College of Surgeons of England.
