Professional profile:
After a very comprehensive surgical training, I entered orthopaedics in 1973 as a senior registrar to progress through St Bartholomew's Hospital, Princess Alexander Hospital, Harlow, the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (Stanmore) and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children, before embarking on a travelling fellowship in North America and Canada.I have been a consultant for 30 years in Norwich with a large experience of general orthopaedics. There can be few orthopaedic problems that I have not dealt with over the years and nowadays my practice's focus is on lower limb orthopaedics, including feet, with a special expertise on disease of the hip.
