Mr John Phillips is a Consultant ENT Surgeon at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and Cromer and District Hospital. Mr Phillips trained at St. Bartholomew's Hospital in London and was awarded a degree in Neuroscience at University College London. Mr Phillips took up his consultant position in Norwich after completing a fellowship in Otology and Neurotology at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, Canada. During his fellowship Mr Phillips spent a small period of time at British Columbia Childrens Hospital.

Mr Phillips has been well trained in all aspects of ENT surgery, but his fellowship allowed him to gain in depth experience in treating patients with complex ear disease. Mr Phillips has a particular interest in patients with tinnitus and dizziness, and these two conditions are the focus of much of his research.

Mr Phillips holds a clinic for private patients at Spire Norwich Hospital on Friday afternoons.

Personal profile:

Mr Phillips is married with a young daughter and greatly enjoys spending his free time with his family. His other interests include photography, music, travel, squash, swimming and cooking (with various degrees of success!).
