Dr Staunton is a Consultant Neurologist at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, and Consultant Clinical Neurophysiologist at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, Oswestry (West Midlands Spinal Unit). He sees patients with general neurological diagnostic problems, and has a special interest in peripheral nerve disease. He trained in neurology in North America after graduating at St Mary's Hospital, Imperial College, London and had his first consultant position at the Montreal Neurological Hospital (McGill University) prior to practice in the UK having accreditation in neurology and clinical neurophysiology.
Dr Staunton lives in Norwich and practices full time in his two specialities of interest, maintaining his contacts within the UK, Canada and the United States, as well as frequent lecturing at St Georges University in the West Indies.
